Dear Summer Fun Lovers
You should have been with us in May, we were all so glad to get the cobwebs
off of our gear and get diving again. The most amazing thing happened during
the Alabama trip, we had pouring down rainstorms dogging our day, and as we
sat in the changing room and sipped hot chocolate, WE DID NOT CARE! We still
had a blast of a weekend with several people earning their Open Water Certs
and the rest of us just being excited about exploring the quarry. Our trip to
Cerulean gave us the perfect weather that we didn't have in Alabama. We loved
the constant 72 degree water and the visibility certainly did warrant a 'happy
face'! There is something about getting divers together that just seems to
guarantee laughter and fun. We have a big thanks to our DM Tater for
discovering a quarry in Hopkinsville, KY. We stopped by to check it out after
leaving Cerulean Springs and can't wait to go back and go diving. Quarry and
lake dives are not the same as our tropical ocean retreats, they are better in
a different way. There is nothing like fine tuning dive and buddy skills in a
place where you don't have to worry about being carried off in a current or
getting lost from the boat. Local dives are close, easy, & affordable. If
you haven't tried them, think about putting your ocean predjudice aside and
seeing what kind of fun you can have closer to home.
We just had our Seal Team complete Phase 2 and I am so proud of their skills,
attentive buddy techniques, and overall enthusiasm at meeting all of their
Aquamissions. To reward such good behavior, we will be having a bonus night
dive for our Seals on Monday, June 27.
Other news that might be of interest to you is that I have hired Laura Mae as
an Administrative Assistant and our first month is already proving to be a big
bonus. Her number one job is to help me follow up with you so that you never
have to miss another trip, wonder how much your trip payoff is or when it is
due, or race around at the last minute to get final trip documents and
preparations complete. Not only do we welcome her, but also welcome back
several of our old timer Divemasters who are rejoining the ranks - YIPPEE!
I am headed to the Riviera Maya on the coast of Mexico on Sunday with a lucky
group of divers. We will be on skeleton crew while I am gone. I am not sure
if I will have anyone to check phone messages, so please email your questions
and thoughts to me so that I can attend to them on June 12th when I return.
As always a big hug and thank you for those of you who support and promote me
and my business. No matter how busy and crazed I sometimes feel, people like
you still make me KNOW I have the finest job in the world. Have a grateful

Join us as we visit one of our favorite, easy to get to, fun to dive
quarries. We will leave Saturday morning for two days of diving and a
Saturday night group dinner. I will be out of town until the night before we
leave. I must have six confirmed, paid divers no later than June 17th for
this trip to run as planned. Please do not procrastinate, let me know ASAP if

Back by popular demand, our one day, midweek, play hooky trip. We leave at
7:00 AM, drive over, spend the day diving and playing and are back by dark.
Not only is the lake uncrowded, but it is delicious to be off playing when
everyone else is at work! Trip fees include: 1 day of diving and lunch.

How about a mini salt water vacation? Diving in the gulf on the many wrecks

Try out diving for the first time, practice, brush up on your skills, get used
to your new gear, all under the supervision of an Easy Diver Staff member. It
really is important to call and reserve your space so I can have the
appropriate gear ready for you.
OPEN WATER SCUBA CLASS - $335
Learn to dive in comfort in our 87 degree pool. Our small, intimate classes
make learning easy and fun. Students must have their own snorkeling gear and
gear bag. Open water training dives 1 - 4 can be held on any of our Easy
Diver sponsored trips, or you may be referred to any PADI Instructor in the
world. Travel fees and Open Water equipment rental are separate charges and
vary according to destination.
OWC #7 Tuesday nights at 6:30 PM for five weeks, beginning June 14
OWC #8 Tuesday nights at 6:30 PM for five weeks, beginning August 2

scheduled, just a lot of great shipboard and port activities. We are ready

with a cruising experience. These ships just run in the summer so they sell
out fast. We have reserved a North Bound Glacier Route trip. To really spoil
yourselves, plan on adding the four day land tour at the end of the 7 day
