Dear Summer Sunlovers,
It is always exciting when we begin our local weekend dive trips. It never
ceases to amaze me how much friendship and bonding seem to develop within the
activity of our shared passion for water. Not that I am getting old or
anything, but my once 'baby' divers are returning to the sport and bringing
their whole families with them. Nothing like being introduced to our future
through children. It is magical and inspiring. Just in case I don't tell you
enough, I APPRECIATE each and every one of you who give me purpose, delight me,
and keep me in a business that I love. I want your experiences with me and Easy
Divers to make you feel like its all about YOU! We are here to help you face
your challenges, meet your goals, expand your friendships, and see the world.
If you have any ideas that might help us do that better, please email them back.
Our staff Instructor Frankie B has one more month of grueling prerequisite night
classes before he can go from running the chamber at the Med to nursing school.
I look forward to July and his increased presence in the classroom and on the
travel circuit. In the meantime, I am relying heavily on my two Platinum Staff
members: Chris 'Tater Belle' Jones, and Randy 'Wilson' Clark. Both of these
enthusiastic former recreational divers epitomize their Platinum ranking by
attaining the highest level of Divemaster training with Internship endorsement,
staying current with recent developments in training and equipment, and by
participating in many facets of Easy Diver life. A big thank you goes out to
them, and a challenge for those of you who may want to begin to follow in their
footsteps. Leadership roles in diving can take your hobby to a whole new level
and I want to encourage all of you to consider the possibility of taking your
diving in a new direction.
How do you like the enhanced web page? Will has been a DREAM to continue to
embellish and improve our web presence. It is exciting to me to see all the
additions. We are currently working on an online photo album, so stay tuned for
that. We are also soliciting dive stories, anecdotes, and items of interest to
be included. Although we reserve the right to edit contents, we do welcome your
contributions. Changes are being made almost daily, so visit our site often for
the most up to date info out there.
I will have the pleasure of escorting our first ever Carnival Cruise to Alaska
on June 14 - 22. As my skill in the travel industry increases, you may expect
to see many different kinds of trips offered. Not all of them will be diving,
but they should all be exciting, fun, & interesting. Doing research for the
trip this year has made me realize that each port town we visit in our
Northbound Glacier Cruise is dramatically different from the last. If shipboard
life was not enough, the land excursions are out of this world. I have already
booked group space for the same week next year: June 13 - 20, 2007. First
deposits are due by June 13, so if you are considering a different kind of
vacation, call us for a dedicated trip flyer and color brochure.
Since most of the staff will be out on trips during the same week in June, I
apologize in advance for being out of pocket. Please visit the website for
class & trip details, and email me with your questions and trip reservations so
that I can follow up immediately upon my return. Your business is important,
you matter, we care!

Trip Deadline Clarification
All of our trips have a listed deadline. We need a minimum number of six
participants for a trip to run as scheduled. The deadline helps us to confirm
that there is enough interest to keep the trip on the books. As long as we have
six people the trip will run. We encourage you to call for availability if you
would like to sign up after the deadline has passed. Often times we can add you
on up until just a few days prior to departure on the local trips. If in doubt,
