Wow, weekend dive trips that are a reasonable jaunt down the road. Do not
underestimate the value and fun of spending a day or two on local dive trips.
Sure, the water is not the rich blue of an exotic destination - BUT, it can
still be of value for expanding your skill (think the benefits of true compass
navigation), improving your buoyancy control, tweaking your buddy technique, and
laughing and having fun with people outside of your normal life experience.
Diving is such an equal opportunity sport that it draws interesting people from
many different walks of life. Combine that with the interest and challenge of

At Easy Divers we are once again expanding our travel boundaries. I will be out
of the office from June 13 -21 to escort another group of nature lovers on a
Carnival Northbound Inside Passage Cruise through Alaska. Anyone interested in
a fabulous value on one of the FUN SHIPS, call and let me know. Every Monday I
receive last minute specials on Carnival Cruises all over the world. There is
something about cruising that marries the best of all worlds. Exotic and fun
exploring coupled with the comfort of a floating hotel makes the experience

adventurers June 2008 on a 12 day Carnival cruise from Italy to Greece and

SEAL TEAM, Phase 1 - $175 Tuition and Seal Team Crew Pak
(Aquamission Activity Book, video, logbook, membership card, certificate and
decal)
PADI Seal Team is a pool scuba program designed for kids eight and older. This
elite diving team provides all kinds of challenges and learning opportunities as
kids spend time completing their underwater Aquamissions. The Seal Team Program
is divided into four phases and each phase meets for four combination
classroom/pool sessions. Phase I teaches basic scuba skills and behavior as the
kids earn their membership on the Team.
Each student must have mask & snorkel, fins, anti-fog, and gear bag. Not only
is it important to have gear that suits each student's individual needs, but
taking care of, and keeping up with this gear is the first step towards diving
responsibility. We will teach parents and kids how to select the proper
equipment during Seal Team pre-registration.
PST #1 Meets 1:00 - 3:00 PM on Mon, Wed, Fri begins July 25
Pre-registration is required, class enrollment deadline is July 11

TRAVEL SAVVY
Our US Passport office is completely inundated with passport application
requests as a result of the new laws that went into affect in January 2007.
This coupled with the fact that our local processing office in New Orleans is
still not back in operation after Hurricane Katrina, means that planning ahead
is an absolute necessity. I strongly suggest that anyone planning for
International travel immediately begin the application process AND pay the extra
$60 for expediting. In the scheme of life, the expediting upcharge more than
pays for itself with the peace of mind in knowing that you will have proper
documentation way in advance of that departure day. Please visit our website

Join us for a big house party and dive weekend at this beautiful lake on the
other side of Hardy, Arkansas. Trip fee includes: pool practice session,
customized itinerary, staff supervision, group River House accommodations, boat
fees, airfills, and dinner Saturday night.
TRIP FEE: $195 Diver, $95 Vacationer
DEPOSIT: $95 due at time of reservation, deadline: Friday, May 25 at 5:00 PM
BALANCE: Due Friday, June 1 by 5:00 PM to avoid $10 late fee
Gear rental and transportation costs are not included. Carpools are now
forming. Gear Rental approximately $100, please call us for complete rental
fee list. Students in Open Water training -- $30 certification card fee

LAKE OUACHITA, Hot Springs, Arkansas
PLAY HOOKY DAYS: The last WEEK of the month
June 27, & July 31
How delicious will it be to float around on one of Arkansas' most beautiful
lakes diving and playing when the rest of the world toils! We leave at 7:00 AM
and return home by dark. Trip fee includes: pool practice session, customized
itinerary, staff supervision, and boat fees. Gear rental fees and PADI
certification cards are separate.
TRIP FEE: $75
PAYMENT: Due in full at time of reservation, deadline is 5:00 PM two weeks prior
to event date to avoid $10 late fee.
Please remember that your trip deposit is a PROMISE that you will participate.
Our staff is engaged and reservations made to include you, therefore deposits

TRIP DEADLINE CLARIFICATION
All of our trips have a listed deadline. We need a minimum number of six
participants for a trip to run as scheduled. The deadline helps us to confirm
that there is enough interest to keep the trip on the books. As long as we
have six people the trip will run. We encourage you to call for availability
if you would like to sign up after the deadline has passed. Often times we can
add you on up until just a few days prior to departure on the local trips. If

Our favorite live aboard dive experience has just a few spaces left for our fall
trip. Eat, sleep, dive, play - REPEAT. Advanced diver and Specialty training
will be available. This is a great way to get a lot of dives and a lot of
experience in a little time. Calling all adventurers!

Yes, we are still going! Just waiting on the final dive confirmation to

Presidents' Day Week
This is our annual trek to interact with gentle giants. After last years most
incredible experiences with manatees and dolphins, we just have to go back.
Final trip budget and date is pending the publishing of the villa rates for
