TURKEY SHOOT AT THE DIVE SHOP
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19, from 10:00 PM until 5:00 PM
There is a little bit of good natured rivalry between our friends at The Dive Shop and Easy Divers.  I would love to see all of you help raise money for the good cause of the Memphis Food Bank.  For each $5 donation, you will get 3 shots at getting the torpedoe through the target hole.  You may bring your own diving equipment, or use the shop gear.  I would love to see our own divers dominate this competition!  Want to practice?  Attend one of our Scuba Fitness sessions and practice your aim with our underwater buoyancy hoops and torpedoes.

EASY DIVERS ANNUAL HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE
MONDAY, DECEMBER 5, FROM 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM
Plan to stop by for some sandwich snacks from Peppers Deli and a little Christmas cheer.  That way you can skip cooking dinner and turn in your Easy Divers Christmas WISH list personally.  For those of you who don't know - I LOVE playing Santa's helper to insure that your families and friends solve their gift giving challenges and you get the goodies you desire.  As always, there are new goodies and gadgets you just don't want to do without and travel and product gift certificates that can make your dreams a reality.  I am working now to create the best gotta have wish lists ever and plan to have them available to you by the middle of the month.

INTRODUCTION TO THE NEW ELECTRONIC DIVE PLANNER
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 30 at 7:00 PM
Join us for coffee and cookies and a practical hands on look at the new 'diving calculator' recently introduced by PADI.  New students and old hat divers will all benefit from this easy to use calculator for planning dives.  This affordable, fun way to plan your dives and keep up with your ending pressure group letter, allows you to file those old concentration requiring Recreational Dive Planners away.  No more undue concentration, no more adding RNTs to ABTs and trying to figure out what to do with TBTs.  Anyone who dives, and everyone on our Easy Diver Staff who act in a leadership position, should learn to use this new, great tool. 
TUITION:      $25, $15 for students who pay and pre-register one week prior
SPECIAL:    Students who purchase an E-rdp by November 23 may waive all fees

TRAINING TRAVELTIME
VORTEX SPRINGS, Ponce de Leon, Florida
NOVEMBER 18 - 20, 2005
Crystal clear water, a temperate 68-72 degrees, food, fun, friendship, and one last chance to get your fins wet before the wacky holiday season gets under way.   This is a great place for training or diving for fun and experience.   Trip fee includes: pool practice session, customized itinerary, group accommodations, admissions, airfills, Easy Divers Staff supervision and dinner Saturday night.  
TRIP FEE:   $215 Diver, $115 Vacationer (no intention of getting wet!)

Gear rental and transportation costs are not included.  Carpools now forming.  Students in Open Water training - $100 gear rental and $30 certification card fee.

TRAINING
DISCOVER SCUBA, SCUBA FITNESS AND SNORKELING - $20 activity fee
Want to try diving, update or fine tune your skills, try out your new equipment, or just plain hang out with some fun water people?  Then consider this your invitation for fun on either select Monday nights or Saturday mornings. Activity fee is $20 per person and includes equipment and Easy Diver Staff supervision.   Students who register and prepay at least 24 hours in advance may take a $5 discount.
Mondays:  November 14 & 28 at 7:00 PM
Saturdays: November 5 & 12 at 11:00 AM

ADULT SWIMMING/SNORKELING
By integrating the calm, comfort, and control fostered by using a mask and fins, along with emphasis on breathing, stretching, and focus, adults who have previously been uncomfortable or afraid of the water learn to relax.  As a result, each student establishes a feeling of safety and skill in the water.  Each private, thirty minute session is personally targeted to the individual.   Please call for pricing and scheduling options.

SEAL TEAM PRACTICE - $15
This practice time is for Seal team members to practice and keep their skills sharp or for Seal team future candidates to get some exposure to diving while they wait for their PADI Seal Team Phase I class to begin.   Registration 24 hours prior to event is required.

Mondays:    November 14 & 28 at 7:00 PM

SEAL TEAM PHASE I - $175
This great, pool based scuba activity program is for children 8 years and up.  Students will learn all of the basic scuba diving skills and upon completion, become card carrying members of the PADI SEAL TEAM.  To gauge your child's interest and ability, it is suggested that each candidate participate in at least one Discover Scuba session prior to being accepted into class.  Class size is limited to provide for a small instructor to student ratio.  Preregistration is required by placing a $75 nonrefundable deposit, and purchasing: mask, snorkel, anti-fog, fins and gear bag.  Class is made up of four 90 minute sessions.

PST PHASE I:   Mondays at 6:00 PM beginning November 21
DEPOSIT:         $75 due at time of reservation, deadline: November 14

OPEN WATER SCUBA CLASS - $335 group, $495 private
This is our last scheduled group class of the year!  If you have been procrastinating, this is your final 2005 chance for our economical group lessons.  Beginner divers love our warm indoor pool and our professional, caring staff.  We meet for five combination classroom/pool sessions which provide more than enough time for skill development in our small, intimate classes.

ADVENTURE/ADVANCED DIVE CLASS - $140 - $165
This class is designed to take all certified divers into that next level of confidence, competence, and expertise.  All AOW candidates must complete the core navigation and deep dive objectives and then may select any three specialty areas from the following list:
Our new teaching approach has all divers attending a first night registration/review session and purchasing a student kit for $40.  Specialty dive lectures and confined water practice sessions are then scheduled weekly throughout the winter months.  After attending the registration/review session, students may pick and choose their dive experiences and complete their classroom/pool sessions in any order they wish.  Advanced Open Water Training dives may then be completed on any Easy Diver trip anytime in 2006.  Students may pay for each class by the session for $25 due each evening, or they may save $25 by paying $100 for the bundle of all five classes during the registration/review session, first night.  Students must reserve class space by telephone or email at least 24 hours in advance for the classes to be held as scheduled.  Each student must have a Junior or Open Water certification and must have their own: mask, snorkel, fins, anti-fog and gear bag.  Some specialty dive choices may require additional gear purchases or accessories, these details will be provided by your Staff Instructor during registration.

TEMPTATIONS TRAVEL
