Dear Wilting Water Lilies:
Even though the extreme summer temperatures have us mopping our collective
brows, our local water conditions do not get any better than they are right
now for diving and fun. It has been really fabulous to dive our local areas
in just a swimsuit! There are still several weekends left before we are
making the longer trek down to the fresh water Springs in Florida. Let's take
advantage and make plans to have some down under fun. There are trips in
September to Martha's Quarry, Nashville and Lake Norfork, Arkansas and in
October to Mermet Springs, Illinois and Blue Water in Hopkinsville, KY.
Please see Training Traveltime for trip details, especially trip deposit
deadlines. Want to go somewhere you don't see listed? Call me and let me
know! All I need is about two people who are willing to deposit on a trip to
get it listed on the website and then we only need six people to make the trip
run with an Easy Divers Staff Instructor.
Just got the good news that one of our favorite boats, The Avalon, is making
the move to Freeport. This will position us to explore a lot more of the
Bahamas area and quite frankly not having to do the long Gulf Stream, Devil's
Triangle crossing will not really hurt any of our feelings. With reasonable
airfares on Air Tran we may just find this beats the heck out of going back
and forth to Miami. Our annual 4th of July trip is now filling!
Now that school is getting back in session I am proud to say that Easy Divers
has become the official educational training center for the scuba clubs at
Collierville High, Germantown High and Memphis University School. Besides
having some fun and expanding the high school experience, these lucky guys and
girls will be earning college credit. If there is not club at your school,
call me and I will show you how easy it is to get up and running.
Guess that is about all the news! I am heading out on August 26th for ten
fun-filled days of adventure aboard the Juliet. We are heading south, south,
south looking for fun, adventure and marine life treats. Sorry to say that
the Juliet is already sold out for 2006, now that is a dandy endorsement.

take on responsibility for good decision making in this environment of play
and fun. Upon completion of Phase I, each student will become an official

and smells good! It has been especially helpful for our needs as divers and
travelers who want clear sinuses, enhanced energy, stimulated immune systems,
and minimizing of aches, pains or motion sickness. If you would like to
learn more, please save the third Monday of each month for the ALL ABOUT OILS
workshops that I will be conducting. Next workshop is scheduled for
