JUST FOR FAMILIES: SCUBA DIVING COURSE

Diving is a FUN, family activity with a high adventure potential and lots of room for bonding. This class session is designed for kids and families. We ask that students under the age of 15 either have a certified diver parent already, or have a parent enroll in class with them.

Class has three components: E Learning online, pool practice of all scuba skills here in Memphis at Easy Divers pool, and final certification dives in Open Water (think lake, quarry, springs, ocean). Our students choose from any one of our Easy Divers sponsored trips or get referred to PADI instructors anywhere in the world. Travel expenses for final certification dives are in addition to your tuition.

To ensure safety in Scuba diving all students must complete a medical health statement and may be required to seek medical permission. Everyone needs to be able to swim well enough to jump into the deep end of the pool and swim to the other end and back and tread water or float for ten minutes. Healthy lungs are essential so we do not teach anyone who smokes or uses smokeless tobacco products. This Family Specific class is open to anyone 12 years of age or older. Everyone needs their own personal snorkeling gear; all gear is not suitable for SCUBA, so please do NOT buy anything until after your registration appointment with our Easy Divers Staff.

We sell the latest in scuba equipment and accessories and carry gear product lines to fit you, your budget, and your diving plans. Please allow us to advise you and show you what we have to offer before purchasing anything new. Our trained professional staff can help you find the best fits and features for your needs and you support our dive shop by buying from us.

Class Tuition: $550 – Group class: we set the schedule
$630 – Semi-private: you gather 3-4 people and you set the schedule
$745 – Private: 1-2 people and you set the schedule

REGISTRATION: A completed Medical Statement and tuition paid in full.

There will be a $50 rescheduling fee for anyone canceling class with less than a 7day notice.
